FAQ
What is Schema Coaching?
Schema Life Coaching is a transformative approach that helps clients uncover and overcome deeply ingrained patterns, or schemas, that shape their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
These patterns, often rooted in early life experiences, can limit personal growth and fulfillment.
Unlike Schema Therapy, which focuses on psychological disorders, Schema Coaching focuses on goal achievement and personal development—while retaining the full depth of the original Schema model.
Schema Coaching integrates psychology, neuroscience, and powerful coaching tools to help clients unlock their true potential.
Why Become a Certified Schema Coach?
Becoming a certified Schema Coach gives you the skills and credibility to work at a deeper level with clients. You’ll gain tools to guide clients through emotional, behavioral, and mindset shifts that can impact their lives for the better.
This training offers the depth today’s clients are seeking - and the flexibility to develop a purpose-driven coaching career in the niche you feel called to.
What Differentiates Schema Coaches?
Schema Coaches go far beyond motivating surface-level change. They help clients identify and shift core misconceptions that can drive their thoughts, emotions, and actions—patterns often formed in childhood and reinforced over time. By doing so, they enable clients to experience more lasting transformation.
They are also trained to ethically recognize when clients need forms of clinical support and collaborate when necessary - ensuring their coaching remains client-centered and within their scope of practice.
What Are the Ground Rules of Training?
This training is a rigorous professional development program - not personal therapy. It is designed to prepare you to coach others.
We aim to foster a safe and respectful group learning environment and reserve the right, in rare cases, to withdraw participants who may negatively impact the experience of others. Participants withdrawn during the first five sessions will receive a full refund.
We ask all applicants to approach the program with openness, readiness to engage, and professionalism. If you are looking to be better informed about current practice and how to improve client outcomes then we look forward to hearing from you.
